Trowbridge shop gets a face lift!

The Trowbridge shop front is currently under installation. With the help of Wiltshire College apprentice students Nathan Shellard and Luke Sutton, the signs are almost complete. Pictures to come.
New poster printer in Trowbridge: HP Z6200 8 ink

Trowbridge have recently taken delivery of a HP z6200 42" poster printer, the first of it's kind in the area.
The Z6200 has 8 inks including a red ink which enhances skin tones and colour vibrancey.
To top it off, the poster printer is 50% quicker than it's predecessor (Z6100) meaning it can fire high quality posters in next to no time.

Digiprint Trowbridge open Day

Digiprint had a successful open day on Friday, 30th of September.
The mayor, Cllr Blakemore cut the ribbon and congratulated the companies success.
The mayor was joined by other business leaders and representatives and throughout the day visitors were had a guided tour around the Trowbridge centre and signage production area and learned more about what digiprint has to offer.
Felix Walsh exclaimed that he feels Trowbridge has invited us and we truely feel welcome.
A special thanks to Mike Wilkinson and the team at Wiltshire Times for covering the event and to the Mayor for taking time out of his busy schedule to come visit.
Digiprint welcomes new team members!

Digiprint would like to welcome Nathan Shellard, Luke Sutton and Sam Short to the team.
Nathan and Luke are part of the Wiltshire College apprentiship scheme which Lee Byway from the Bath signage team began over 3 years ago.
Sam, who is currently studying at university, will be based in Bath on Saturdays, Nathan will be based in the new Trowbridge branch under the supervision of Chris and Luke will be following and assisting Ben but mainly based in Bath.
The new team were brought together recently to assist Ben and Lee on a vehicle wrap in the Trowbridge branch, getting hands on experience in the print and signs industry.

Baths FIRST Eco Friendly Signage Printer Arrives!

This month we took delivery of the latest Eco Friendly wide format signage printer from HP and we think it's something to shout about!
Our new 1524mm (60 inch) wide signage and poster printer is the first to be installed in Bath and we have invested heavily in this new green technology.
If you have to hit green targets with purchasing of promotional items, or just like us you actually care about the environment then we have the solution for you.
The printer produces no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) it is instantly dry and prints at a much higher resolution than any other machine.

Robo-Lion unleashed at Bath Centre

Digiprint Bath are sponsoring one of the 100 lions
to hit the
streets of Bath this summer.
The theme of our Lion was everything digital and from that concept Robo-Lion was created. Digiprint are also printing the lion safari maps indicating the locations of all 100 lions in Bath.
We have also been involved with all of the Lions printing and signage work which is a great honour.
Update October 2010: Robo-Lion has now been auctioned off to a good home and helped raise a lot of money for Off the record and many other charities

digiprint are now a proud sponsor of the Lions of Bath street exhbition. They have given digiprint a blank lion to decorate and display.
After the sucess of King Bladud's Pigs in 2008, 100 lions in total will be on display until October, where they will be auctioned off to raise money for local charities.
digiprint will also be assisting with the print and signage needs, such as the individual plaques for the lions, and the maps to find them all.

We were recently approached by Future Publishing to produce a canvas for their PhotoPlus mini test feature.
Digiprint were pleased to be given the chance to showcase our quality canvas printing service and prepared a sample for comparison with 3 online canvas print specialists. The great news is that we actually came a close second with a score of 86% overall.
They commented... "quality is excellent and the quick turnaround makes this great for last-minute gifts."

Rush job for Earth from the air shop front

When the organisers of the Bath - Earth from the Air open air exhibition needed urgent signage they were delighted that their near neighbour did high quality digital printing and they were impressed to discover that this could be done within 24 hours.
Chris Bridge exhibition Director said " We had an initial job requiring some safety signage which was turned round within two hours. This was impressive.... but when we visited Ben and his team at Digiprint Bath, we were impressed to see the set up and printing capability that saved us time, transport and allowed us to buy locally. Digiprint Bath City has just taken delivery of a brand new 60 inch wide format photo and poster printer. It knocks spots of the competitions quality, speed and available width of prints and uses HP vivera 8 colour light-fast inks.
